Now in its third iteration, we surveyed a record-breaking 20,000 prospective and current students from over 100 countries to bring you comprehensive insight into international student priorities, motivations, and perceptions. 

New in this round of research, we look further at the impact of post-study work rights, cost of living, and admissions processes on student choice. 

Key findings include:

• Canada remains the most desired first-choice destination, with Australia in the number two spot, followed by the US, UK, New Zealand and Ireland
• 34% of students are considering studying in three or more of the top destination countries
• 63% of students globally state that post-study work is the main or influencing factor in where they study
